After speaking to many peers I have decided that the 'Helen of Troy' theme could look out of place easily. Therefore I am going to film a back up version of the dance scenes with a nightclub/disco feel to it. The locations for this will be the same:
Longcroft school theatre - I can ask AFC entertainment to also provide disco lights and find appropriate props
The Green Room - whilst looking on the green room tape I found some disco light backgrounds which would be appropriate
This is a much more widely accepted idea and will not apply to a niche audience... However I will see which looks the best after filming and evaluate it further.
