Details of my chosen song (Homewrecker) and information on the artist/band (Marina and The Diamonds)

My chosen song is called 'Homewrecker' by Marina and The Diamonds, an artist belonging to the alternative genre. It from the album Electraheart.

It does not have an official music video at the moment, I personally think this is better as it allows me to be more creative.

I was searching you tube for some more information on the track and I found this video:

It has a track by track description of the songs from Marina herself. Homewrecker is at 2.22 minutes into the video clip however it was useful to watch all of the video to get a real insight into the thought process and creating of the album.

You may think that 'Marina and The Diamonds' is Marina and her band, however the Diamonds are her names for her fans.

Information from Wikipedia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_and_the_Diamonds)

Marina Lambrini Diamandis born 10 October 1985

Early demos of Marina and the Diamonds' songs were self-composed and produced on the Apple software application Garageband. She found someone to produce a few tracks, for which she paid £500.These ended up on her debut extended play Mermaid vs Sailor EP which was released on 23 November 2007. The record was created on hand-made CD-Rs by Diamandis and sold through her MySpace page. An estimated seventy copies were sold overall.

Now she has made 2 albums:
1. The Family Jewels (Warner Music Group signed her to 679 Recordings) in 2010
2. ElectraHeart in April 2012

STYLE:
As well as her music, Marina and the Diamonds is also notable for her unique attire. When asked in an interview to describe her fashion style in three words, Diamandis said "vintage, cheerleader and cartoon". I have found a few images to demonstrate this:

I also followed her fashion and style choices as she participated in Vouge's 'Today I'm wearing section' Where she posted what she wearing every day for one month.
