Ancillary Photos

I understand that some of the following pictures are out of focus and therefore I will not use them:

I love this picture, the brightness and clarity is great. My artist is dominant however I'm not sure if I can use it due to the feet being cut off

I love this picture however I do not think it is clear

This picture is landscape and too busy to use

I love this picture but the lighting is not right for a bright poster

This picture may be a possiblity as my artost

BEHIND THE SCENES: CHORUS

Meg had a dentist appointment at 3.00 however this overran so she came at 4.30 putting us behind schedule...
Also I was informed that by 6:00 there was a parent's evening being held in the theatre so I had to be packed away by 5:30...

I created this short video with iMovie on my Macbook:

I also took some extra pictures which I uploaded into a slideshow format in youtube

Update on progress: PRODUCTION PLANS

PRODUCTION PLAN: 23rd December
3:00 Meg and Rob arrive
3:15 costume and make up all ready
3:20 reshoot ring
3:30 reshoot lipsync
3:40 film meg and rob getting ready for their dates
4:10 film meg walking up and into house
4:20 film kitchen meal etc
5:00 everything done

  • I reshot the ring since this was out of focus
  • I also shot a close up of my artists mouth the replace the fade in when lipsyncing at the start
  • Next I shot the date scene, since the two locations I asked to film at refused so I used my house to create a romantic setting with mise-en-scene e.g. the candle, wine and flowers
  • I also added in some enigma where I showed my protagonist and her next victim getting ready for the date.

4:03 film meg walking up and into house
4:20 film kitchen meal etc
4:55 everything done

Draft 3 of my music video

Arranging and shooting the dance scenes

I also have arranged for my dance scene to be filmed via social media:

It took a lot of time to find a date suitable for Meg, Kat, Sam, Alex and the media technician Clayton to be available. Without them the dance, lights and props would not be done properly when filming.

Research into subsidiary text: DIGIPAK

DIGIPAK EXAMPLES:

  • Every side of the digipak is similar to the other and follows the same house style, and represents the artist in the same way - therefore I will not be using the wedding scenes, running away scenes etc in my digipak since this is not continuous like the chorus
  • The typography is visible and clear to read
  • The front of the digipak features the artist's name and album name, alongside an image
  • The back cover shows a list of songs that are included on the CD - sometimes with a bar-code
  • The CD is also decorated to fit with the colourscheme

  • More on my evaluation about this digipak

    Disaster

I was given a blank tape to film on, unaware of this I decided to check the film footage was being stored onto the tape (due to hearing of others losing all their footage). Consequently,  I accidentally created long gaps in my film and therefore have had to store it all as one clip. This has made it very hard for me to edit!
