A WEDDING! (planning for scene)

Since the 'wedding scene' is going to be on the 17th November I need to make it look realistic and there are a few things I have to sort out:

Who to invite - I need the wedding to look realistic therefore I must have guests there. I must make sure these guests are a mixed variety  but most of all do not put Meg off acting. Therefore I will need to discuss with her guests to invite!

I need to practice with make up for wedding scene.

Decorating the church - I think candles look great on camera and will therefore try to put some fake ones (like I found in the props cupboard) around since this would make the wedding look mysterious and would not look out of place in a church. Furthermore since I got some more leaves as a motif I will decorate those round the church too...

The costume - I need to decide on the costume for Meg to wear. Although I have a selection of dresses I need to narrow the 5 options down. I also need to find a veil that looks good and fitting with the dress. I also need to choose some flowers for Meg to carry down the aisle.

I need to find a watch for my groom to wear as he does not own one and this will be a close up in my video

I need to find a top with a cross on for my vicar outfit

Another Production Plan

                          - Experiment with make-up and costume
                          - film the bedroom scene
                          - film walking up to date scene

Queen Of Hearts - Final Outfit

FINISHED RESULTS OF QUEEN OF HEARTS OUTFIT

AFTER ALL THIS I DO NOT THINK I WILL BE USING THIS OUTFIT DUE TO THE RESULTS OF MY SURVEY ON SURVEYMONKEY.COM WHICH SHOWED MOST PEOPLE  WANTED TO SEE HELEN OF TROY RATHER THAN THE QUEEN OF HEARTS REPRESENTED IN A MUSIC VIDEO ABOUT HOME WREKCERS.

AT LEAST I HAVE A NICE FANCY DRESS COSTUME NOW THOUGH!

Potential Costumes: DANCERS

I am still unsure whether to go with the Helen of Troy motif in my video or The Queen of Hearts so I looked at different outfits for both ideas... I asked if I could have access to my old secondary school's costume cupboard and found a variety of costumes to suit both areas...

I had lots of access to different costumes!

Sammie in costume room

Kat reaching for boxes

This dress seems ideal for my Helen of Troy idea since it is similar to how an audience would imagine an archaeological ancient site. eg, leaves wrapped around a pillar.

a huge variety

Kat in the dress

Queen of hearts dress for the dancers. This dress in my opinion would look quite comical on so I would need to look elsewhere to find a suitable outfit

Sam in the dress

This mask could be used as it could represent a homewrecker's hidden motive.

This cross could be used in the church scene

I asked kat to hold the two items together to see if my idea would work

I found some more of the fake leaves that were attached to the dresses. This is fantastic as I could use it as a motif in my video.

I thought this card outfit would be great to relate to the queen of hearts scene, however it would not be ideal for dancing in!

Another influential video:

I really was inspired by this video since it includes narrative and performance and the storyline is quite quriky like my music video
